"Went to make a simple policy change, we loaned a vehicle to a friend and they go their own coverage. Asked to back date a couple weeks due to the duplicate coverage and the delay in getting the ID cards. The CSR first refused and said it wasn’t possible, which it is in fact not only possible, but there is a rule covering duplicate coverage. The policy with the later date is always the policy in force, and you can’t charge for coverage that won’t apply to the risk. The CSR just hung up. Pick a different agent. With rates this high there is no reason to stick with an office that treats is clients this way. Just changed to a different local agent. Great way to treat referrals. Saw the response, Florida statute 627.728 covers this clearly. We hold the title, the friend registered the vehicle, and we have a lease agreement in place. I offered to provide the docs, we just got hung up on. Under that saw statute it clearly defines that unearned premium must be refunded."
"JT, The friends coverage will not cover the car if you kept registration so you have to maintain your coverage and you cannot backdate coverage. Seriously, I always screenshot what I wrote for my reviews. I can put the original review back? Worst place to go for anything, barely anyone to help you!"

"I was overseas getting ready to head back stateside and I had sent a couple of emails to reinstate my full coverage on my primary vehicle but did not hear anything back. I needed to make sure I was covered so I called the office and got Brigitte on the line. She confirmed the reinstatement was processed and even sent me new cards showing full coverage was effective. Brigitte was great and eased my mind."

"I called on Feb 6 and I got put on the phone with Brigitte Jessica Baque. I asked to speak with Dan directly and she said he wasn’t available so I asked to leave a message she said he doesn’t take messages I asked for his number she said he doesn’t have one I asked for an appointment she said he doesn’t see clients. I also asked for her name to tell Dan that she refused to help me and she denied giving me her name. I know her name now because I got an email from her asking to “rate her service” but she still refused to help me or provide a name. She absolutely refused to help me and she was very condescending. Very bad customer service!!!"

"From the moment I called Dan Calvin office, I spoke to Rachel what a fantastic lady she is. She took her time , went over everything, did not miss one thing. If I got confused she helped me understand before we moved on. I originally decided to wait till next week to finalize the deal. After I hung up, 5 minutes later I called and couldn't get through, I emailed her and she called me back right away. We were on the phone for a long time and she saved me lots of money. I already told a few of my friends about how she helped me and they r calling her to see what she can do for them. I would like to commend Rachel on a FANTASTIC job. "I want to thank the employees at the Dan Cavin State Farm Insurance Agency for stepping up to the plate and going that extra mile for my automobile and renter's insurance needs, especially during a difficult month involving 1. being rear ended, 2. dealing with my car that was now "totaled", 3. purchasing a new vehicle and 4. changing my residential address requiring 5. Renter's Insurance. If there ever was a reliable test to determine an agencie's quality of service, my multiple insurance needs put them to the test. I am very impressed with their service.
